Vauxhall is a vibrant area in the south of London with a mixture of commercial and residential districts, restaurants and pubs, there is certainly a lot going on here! Vauxhall has a rich history and there are many competing theories as to how the area got its name. Some say the name came from King John’s mercenaries and the surrounding area known as ‘Faulke’s Hall’, later becoming ‘Foxhall’ and eventually ‘Vauxhall’.
