I believe that to succeed at any given task, you first have to view that task in a positive light. My approach to private tutoring is to talk at length with the student to discover any reason for a negative attitude towards the task, and deal with this head on. Nothing is impossible, however tough it may seem, and once we begin to succeed, it suddenly becomes enjoyable! I love what I do and it’s important to help students to feel the same way, how we achieve this is different for every case which is why it’s important to ensure the student is comfortable and finds what we’re doing interesting and relevant.
