Non-Verbal Reasoning Tutors

Non-verbal reasoning tests are designed to see how someone can use critical thinking and logic to solve problems based around sequences, diagrams and shapes. They seek to indicate mathematical capabilities and powers of deduction. Universities and employers value non-verbal reasoning to differentiate between applicants, in order to combat rising competition.

The test can be scary because it’s based on logic and skills rather than learned ability. But Tavistock Tutors have vast experience with non-verbal reasoning at all levels and can give insight into the different formats, and necessary logic behind the questions. They pride themselves on creating a stress-free environment to allow maximum progress from lesson one.

Every lesson is created for each individual pupil’s needs, and I try to make the lessons as engaging as possible. It is important that not only knowledge is being built up during these sessions, but confidence too. As a person I...

My approach would follow three steps. Firstly I would ask the student what problems he is having in his studies so that I can then devise an appropriate and effective solution to them. Secondly, I would make sure that even more standard knowledge and study skills are present so that there are more solid foundations to build on. Finally, I...

I aim to encourage my students to challenge themselves, but will always work at a pace tailored...

I encourage tutees to find a healthy, happy way to engage with their subject, and inject every session with a positive, energetic outlook that ensures every session is full of productivity and direction for where to take it next. I am now working on US central time-zone, which comes in extremely handy for continuing...
