My Passion & How I Inspire

Besides my fascination of mathematics, I truly enjoy working with young people, something I have been committed to for a while. I am keen to contribute my passion for maths as well as enthusiasm to helping students in achieving their academic goals. I strive to mentor and support students to the best of my ability to ensure they reach their educational potential and I see private tuition as an effective way to overcome any difficulties they currently face, offer support in all areas and topics, in ways that are encouraging and understandable to them. This will involve clear explanations of concepts, with a strong emphasis on exam practice

As a student also, I believe high-standard teaching, and effective resources are crucial to learning. Equipped with a deep understanding of some of complex concepts in mathematics, this is something I can certainly provide. I have previously worked with many students of all ages and abilities in which I can effectively adapt my communication skills to provide individuals with the best personal learning experience, alongside my positive attitude.

I look forward to working together!

My Experience

Prior to becoming a student at university, I had been a committed tutor for two years, mentoring and supporting young children of all ages and abilities at two Kumon centres. Whether individually or in small groups, I offered students support in Maths and English particularly with topics they found challenging, explaining concepts in an encouraging and nurturing manner they could understand.
