I am an Engineering Student in a top University in London with excellent academic record. I have been tutoring for two years, both in groups and private. I am also experienced in teaching exam techniques as well as UK university application.
Throughout my experience, I have developed my skill in interacting and engaging with students, as well as crucial techniques in teaching students with learning difficulties. Previous private tutee has shown excellent progress of 10% increase in physics and maths in 3 months!

My Approach to Private Tuition
My idea of tutoring might differ from the conventional idea. Many might consider a tutor is a person whom assists the student to fill in the blanks on what s/he misses during lessons, or someone to help when the student couldn’t do their homework.
Yet knowledge could be acquire from readings. Certainly, a tutor could be doing those as well, but my role as the tutor should be someone who encourage and motivate the students, and allowing them to find enjoyment in acquiring new knowledge and concept by themselves. I’d teach student the methodology of finding their “why” and “how”, as well as understanding the logic behind it, as these would be the challenges they’d face while becoming an independent learner.
I love cooking and seriously considered choosing culinary as my career path!
