My Passion & How I Inspire

My tuition method involves making Maths and Physics fun (where possible) so that children and young adults will remember their lessons and overcome the "I can't do it" syndrome. I believe I combine energy, expertise and enthusiasm. Parents often comment that I am as much a mentor to their children as I am a tutor.

My Experience

I have been teaching for over 10 years and my teaching experience ranges from teaching GCSE students all the way up to teaching PhD students to improve their thesis writing skills. One of my students improved from a D to an A at GCSE level after just six months of tuition with me, and commonly students improve by at least one grade.

Apart from the usual Maths and Physics syllabuses (Edexcel, OCR, AQA) I am experienced at teaching students the Maths section of the SATs and ACTs in order to get scholarships to American Universities.

Fun fact

I was on The Apprentice in 2007 and got fired for not being sufficiently ruthless!
