My Passion & How I Inspire

As a tutor, I’m here to help you, not stress you out. I pride myself on being gentle and encouraging, and particularly student-centred. One of the major benefits of one-to-one tutoring is being able to focus on your individual areas for improvement, and I make sure I take into account both what you need to learn, and how you may best learn it! I’m always coming up with analogies and anecdotes to help you remember information, and place particular emphasis on helping you understand concepts so you can apply them easily, rather than just rote-learning facts.

My Experience

I have tutored GCSE Maths, English, and Sciences since 2016, with emphasis on tailoring my sessions to suit the learning styles of individual students. I have worked with students preparing for AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards. I have also tutored KS2 and 3 English and Maths since 2015, with a view to helping my students build their confidence in these subjects, alongside developing their skills.

Fun fact

In my first year of University I hitchhiked all the way from London to Paris in 36 hours, raising hundreds of pounds for charity in the process!
