My Passion & How I Inspire

I have three approaches to learning. First, I want to make learning fun. Why? It not only makes your life so much easier, but it also allows your brain to store information more efficiently… fun fact! Second, I tend to simplify concepts by breaking them down. Especially in the sciences, it helps you to break down large seemingly complex processes into small chunks that can be easily solved. After all, everything is only as difficult or easy as you make it! And third, I structure and tailor all my lessons according to what works best for you. Whether you need a crash course in neuroanatomy or want to build a simulation in Matlab, I will prepare my lessons so that they specifically match your needs.

My Experience

I taught advanced first aid to over 600 students at Karanga Secondary School (Moshi Area, Tanzania) as part of a two-month volunteering period with the charity First Aid Africa. I also gave one-to-one lessons in Biology to a 1st year undergraduate at Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh, UK), as well as a GCSE student at Leipzig International School (Germany).
