My Passion & How I Inspire

My approach to tutoring is to encourage independent thought in a more comfortable environment beyond the rigidity of the classroom or lecture theatre. As such my lessons provide an open environment for a student to take control of their own learning. Provoking originality helps to work through any obscurities and arrive at the conclusion or answer sought. My lessons will always involve consideration of the chain of issues from the matter to the result. Whether language or law, consolidation is essential in order for a student to retain knowledge most effectively.

My Experience

I have extensive university mentoring experience. This involved regular meetings with first and second year students, running through academic difficulties and identifying and implementing revision techniques. I also mentored students through the challenging process of securing a training contract and the importance of being actively involved in the careers process from the start of university.
