I have experience as a tutor in many settings, from one-to-one to small group work. Alongside my medical studies, I taught for the Anatomy society and facilitated academic session within the facultys near-peer scheme. Furthermore, I mentored for UCLs widening participation scheme for prospective students from underprivileged, inner-city state schools. This covered every step of Medical school admissions, from personal statement guidance to mock interviews. I teach numerous clients from different backgrounds working towards a range of qualifications, including GCSE, IGCSE, ISEB 13+, AS, and A Levels. I also have lots of experience working with students who have special educational requirements such dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, atypical autism and elective mutism.

Medical School Admissions
Having left school with 10A*-A GCSEs, I went on to study Maths & Science at sixth form, achieving A*A*AA. Following exceptional scores in BMAT and UKCAT, I was accepted on to the competitive Medicine course at UCL. I intercalated in 2015, and graduated with a 1st class BSc in Medical Sciences with Surgical sciences. For performance, I was awarded both a Dean’s List commendation and a prize for best research project presentation in cohort.
My Approach to Private Tuition
I believe tuition should be holistic and designed around a student’s individual needs and expectations. As a current student, I have a unique understanding of the requirements of my pupils. Throughout your sessions, I aim to help students identify their particular strengths, and utilize them to unlock full academic potential.
