My Passion & How I Inspire

My teaching style is dynamic and fun: for younger students there are challenging and engaging lessons fashioned around their interests and rewarded with stickers. For older students, there are lively, well-structured and clear lessons peppered with discussions, images, articles and source materials to fuel their engagement with learning and make the study of their subject as enjoyable as possible.

My Experience

Whilst at Cambridge, I was Education Officer for the Marlowe Society and Cambridge University American Stage Tour. I provided workshops on Marlowe and Shakespeare for students at schools across the UK and the East Coast of America and lead seminars at universities such as M.I.T. and Brown. Since leaving university, Iā€™ve loved working full time as a Special Educational Needs Teacher, teaching a boy with Autism 1-1 in a mainstream school. Iā€™ve also worked as a Nursery Practitioner with 8 Key Children under my care (2 with SEN), monitoring their development in accordance with EYFS. Iā€™ve spent 10 months as a governess to a lovely family in Shepherdā€™s Bush and have been working as a tutor for families in London. My students have ranged from the ages of 5 to 23, and I take great delight in seeing them develop and succeed.
