I strongly believe that a studentās enjoyment of a subject is vital to their success and lifelong learning. Through my diverse range of teaching experience, I have learnt to truly appreciate the individuality of each studentās learning style. My creative flair allows me to tailor teaching methods to each pupilās needs, whilst continuously developing ways to make learning fun! This includes utilising the studentās interests and hobbies as a pathway of learning.
My experience as a dance teacher has instilled in me the importance of confidence building, and my role in healthcare allows me to continuously develop my person-centered communication skills. Along with this, my high level of organisation always ensures that well-structured lesson plans and homework are prepared. āManisha really helped me to understand the areas in which I was lacking confidence in Chemistry A-Level. She was so patient and encouraging that I felt comfortable to push myself harder and actually achieve the grades I wanted. When I didnāt understand something, she explained it so clearly and even used anecdotes and acronyms, which I found particularly helpful.ā (Mousam, gained entry into Medical School)
āI would highly recommend Manisha as a tutor. Her friendly and approachable nature makes you feel comfortable to ask questions, whilst her evidently strong work ethic motivates you to aim higher in your learning.ā (Joel)
āShe is very determined and patient ā she never gave up on me! She was able to really target the areas in which I was struggling and came up with new ways to develop my understanding.ā (Serena)
I choreographed and performed an Alice in Wonderland dance on a West End stage!
