My Experience

I have three years of experience tutoring students from 11-14. I have tutored a range of humanities subjects and Maths. I have also taught piano to two students who both moved up a grade as a result of my tuition.

I have experience with university applications. I have tutored on a pre-university camp where I ran mock interviews, assisted with personal statement preparation and delivered a lecture on defamation to students aged between 16-18. I also ran debate sessions in order to develop the students’ thinking and ability to construct an argument. As president of the Fitzwilliam College Law Society, I helped first year law students with the transition from school to university study.

My Approach to Private Tuition

I am an enthusiastic teacher with a real passion for learning. One-to-one tuition provides a unique opportunity to work with a student to achieve their goals. It is important to me that the students I teach enjoy the lessons, which in turn allows them to fully develop their potential.
I hope to give students inspiration to learn that will last into the future.
