My Passion & How I Inspire

I enjoy interacting, debating and learning with my tutees. I do not see private tuition as only content based learning. I am interested in exploring and hearing how the tutee feels they are to benefit most from our time together. I am perceptive to peopleā€™s needs, be that rote learning through practice or a holistic approach, engaging interest through discussion or debate. I am extremely passionate about my subjects and feel this comes across in my tuition. However, I understand that not everyone feels this way, so believe that patience and determination are equally important. I truly believe that learning can be enjoyable for both tutee and tutor through a mutual understanding and respect, which I will do my best to establish in the early stages.

My Experience

I taught Philosophy skills to year twos for six months. I taught for six months at a primary school in Cape Town including all years and subjects (even PE!) I have also tutored a 13 year old in all her humanities subjects as well aided her general confidence in these areas.
