My Passion & How I Inspire

Having worked with a variety of ages in a variety of places, from my own school to a young offenders institute; it is clear that everyone is different and learns best in different ways. My approach to tutoring is always to build a strong relationship with my student, working together to find out how they learn best. This means I can tailor lessons to the individual’s needs. Some sessions could involve a very specific breakdown of a single GCSE maths problem. Another session could simply be to encourage debate on a Shakespearean Tragedy, allowing individual thoughts and ideas to develop for a tutorial essay.

Whatever the subject; I strive to make lessons that are clearly structured but also as engaging as possible. This is when the best results are achieved, when learning isn’t hard or boring but is interesting and, most importantly, enjoyable!

My Experience
