Christine started her career at Carat London as a TV, radio and cinema planner-buyer on the Nissan, Glenmorangie and Miller Brewing accounts. She moved client-side to British Telecom’s marketing team, where she managed BT’s media buying agencies and advised on media buying strategy. In 2000 she was recruited by a Swiss start-up to lead the £8m UK marketing launch of a social media website. She has also worked for e-commerce startups in luxury fashion retail. Christine has passed Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) exams in Marketing Planning, Marketing Communications planning and Marketing Research & Information. She has completed an MBA course on Creativity & Entrepreneurship at the Edinburgh Business School and has a certificate of excellence in the Think Like A Brand: Personal Branding for Entrepreneurs course at Heriot-Watt University. She has lived in Italy and speaks fluent Italian. When she has the time she blogs for the Huffington Post, Women’s Enterprise Scotland and We Are The City.

I am approachable and highly knowledgeable on marketing strategy and marketing communications. I aim to help with editing and proof-reading essays and offer guidance to steer students in the right direction. Marketing is undergoing rapid technological change, so I am constantly update my knowledge to stay up-to-date with developments in digital marketing. My approach is to convey my enthusiasm for this fundamentally important part of business.
