My Passion & How I Inspire

For me, it is really important to get to know my students and to figure out, together, how they learn and revise best. I often use different methods of teaching - such as mind mapping and quizzing - to keep my lessons engaging and fun. I like to be sure that my students really understand the concepts of the material that I am teaching, because GCSEs and A-Levels are not simply memory tests.

If my student has an upcoming exam, I spend time helping to improve their revision technique, ensuring that they have plenty of creative ways to test themselves on a topic and good time management. I also like to work through past exam questions with my students, improving their exam technique so that there are no surprises in the real exam.

Ultimately, I hope to boost my students’ confidence and help them to achieve their very best.

My Reviews

“Anjali is an excellent tutor. She is very friendly and patient. She works efficiently, and the lessons delivered were interesting and professional. She helped me improve my exam technique, for example she taught me how to answer longer questions in order to achieve the highest marks. She takes extra time outside of the lesson hours to find useful resources and videos to help me understand a topic. I found I gained confidence within a short time, and started aiming for a higher A-Level grade” A-Level Biology student, E.K., Watford Grammar School for Girls

“Anjali is an excellent tutor. She is easy going. She always explains the topic clearly and in detail and structures her lessons well. I look forward to more lessons with her.” GCSE Biology Student, S.K., Henrietta Barnett School
