My Passion & How I Inspire

I am influenced and motivated by my high school chemistry teacher, who is passionate about not only chemistry but also social affairs. He often uses a chemist's approach to give insights into various social topics, like water pollution, food safety standards, etc. He also encourages us to read books beyond the curriculum. His teaching made me a curious person, a critical thinker, and an avid learner later on in my life. I am still inspired by him and I aspire to bring the same level of energy and inspiration to other people. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to help others in their progress to achieve greater things.

My Experience

I am a Cambridge University graduate with a clear objective to deliver first class tuition and help students achieve the best results.

I studied economics at Cambridge and achieved high First Class (top 5% of the class).

I tutor economics and maths all the way through to A-level.

I offer consultation services on Oxbridge applications and essay writing (Economics, Economics and Management, or PPE).

I provide tutorials on GMAT exams. I got a score of 770 in the exam myself.

I am highly committed to helping each student unlock their full potential. I actively monitor the progress of each student and share the progress with parents. My teaching style is working with the students according to their objective and needs. I make sure the students fundamentally understand the concept, rather than memorise without an actual grasp of the subject. I also teach students techniques to learn in a more efficient way.

I understand each student is different and accommodate this in my teaching approach. I am warm and friendly as well as result driven.
