Private tuition should leave the tutee feeling enriched, challenged and inquisitive after each session. From my own experience of studying for exams or preparing for university applications, I believe that time should be used in an effective and efficient manner to yield progress. Tuition lessons should not only provide a benefit for that one given session, but enable a pupil to take useful concepts and transfer them to other subjects and aspects of the tutee’s working life. It should give the pupil a new perspective, and the tools necessary to think independently. Tuition should help develop the pupil to a point where they possess the means to unlock their full potential without constant monitoring by parents or teachers. Therefore by always keeping a clear end-goal in sight, I hope that my methods can not only inspire the pupil to consistently strive for excellence, but to also consistently achieve it.
