Preparing for US standardized tests can be daunting, especially for students who didn't grow up with the American system or who have been out of school for many years. My approach is to use past test questions and other materials to change the way you think about standardized tests. My goal is not just to teach you English and Math, but to change the way you think. I will teach you how to anticipate the questions you will encounter and see patterns throughout all sections of your test. You will quickly gain confidence, the most important ingredient in admissions test success.
I taught for about a year and a half for one of the big schools before setting out on my own. I've taught students from many different countries and backgrounds. I focus on helping each student achieve to their highest potential.
I have a BSFS in International Political Economy from Georgetown University and an MBA from Cambridge Judge Business School. I scored in the 97th percentile on the GMAT and GRE.
I trust you are well.
I just wanted to drop you a note of thanks following your assistance, particularly on the AWA, having now sat my GMAT for real. I took it yesterday and await the full score but was happy with the unofficial score on the day. Following practice and your kind words after reviewing a sample essay, the assessment largely wrote itself!

“Thanks so much Susan. It was great to meet you and you're a wonderful teacher. I really appreciated how patient you were with me and how you didn't mind going through things slowly!

Thank you for looking at my essay. I just wanted to let you know that I took the GMAT today and I got 670 (with an IR score of 7). I wanted to say thank you for all of your help during the course, I wouldn't have done as well without it!
