My Passion & How I Inspire

My passions are literature and film. Alongside tutoring, I work as a screenwriter and I believe the skills needed to write well – the ability to engage and excite an audience - are the very same as those needed to inspire a student.

I offer my students a structured and tailored tuition plan, which will draw on the student’s own personal interests and needs. The lessons will be appropriately challenging, helping the student to gain confidence and clarity. My aim is to not only guarantee academic success, but to inspire a true love for the subject.

My Experience

I am an experienced tutor; I have taught classes of children the 11+ and I’ve tutored adults in English as a Foreign Language. I have also worked with young people in a number of different capacities, most recently as a nanny to two lovely girls.
