I am a calm, patient and knowledgeable tutor , who encourages students to be ambitious and confident in their work. I believe art and design can and should be as fascinating, rigorous and demanding as any other subject, and students should be encouraged to develop the strong technical and intellectual framework on which their unique artistic voice can be built.
I am an award winning freelance illustrator with clients including Folio Society, Sony, Paramount and Universal Pictures. I won the Folio Society Book Illustration Award 2014 and was shortlisted for a World Illustration Award 2015. I've provided private tuition from GCSE to undergraduate and adult learner level, and I currently work as a Visiting Practitioner for University of the Arts London. I have a wide experience and detailed knowledge of a number Adobe Creative Suite programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and After Effects.
