My Passion & How I Inspire

I enjoy getting to know each student as an individual and amending my teaching style accordingly, but broadly speaking I am an empathetic, engaging and enthusiastic tutor. I enjoy bringing texts and themes to life in creative ways while remaining focused on key goals. I like to be clear from the beginning about what each student is looking to achieve, both in terms of examinations and in a more general sense.

“I employed Rosie for 6 months to help my son Dan at home with English tutoring. She was professional, punctual and flexible.

Dan is severely dyslexic, and struggles to get his ideas on paper. He is very able verbally, and we needed someone who could inspire him to persevere and get his ideas on to a page. She taught him to use accepted writing styles.

Rosie, was amazing, her friendly, encouraging but incisive style made Dan believe he could do it, and he wanted to do it.
