Everybody can do Maths!! Many students are intimidated by the subject, so I hope to allay their fears by being a friendly and approachable face. I provide a clear, step-by-step explanation of how to solve the problem at hand, followed by lots of guided examples to help build their confidence. I carefully plan both each individual lesson to make best use of the time available, as well as the longer timeline of lessons to ensure my students are making the progress they are capable of.
In terms of Economics, I have a strong understanding of both the concepts and what the examiners are looking for in the A Level course (I achieved 398/400). Having studied the subject at LSE and spent 5 years in the “real world”, I come armed with a deeper, practical understanding of the subject which enables me to bring lessons to life!
Hi! I’m Robert, I’m a born and raised Londoner and teach Maths in a top-performing academy school in central London. Prior to becoming a teacher, I spent 5 years working in the City, primarily for a top strategy consulting firm. Having achieved perfect grades throughout my academic career I know what it takes to be successful in one’s studies and aspire to set all my students up for success by passing on both my understanding of concepts as well as the best ways of studying and revising.
