My Passion & How I Inspire

My approach to private tuition is centered around understanding the needs of the student and then helping them improve problem areas through practising problem sets. However, it is not enough to just memorise an equation, for example, and repeat it 10 or 20 times. I want to help the student really grasp the concept and to really gain an in-depth understanding. That way, they will feel comfortable with any question within that topic and won’t be thrown off in the exam if a question is asked differently to how they have seen it before.

With that in mind, I prepare thoroughly for lessons, tailoring it to the individual needs of the student. I want the student to feel keen and comfortable whilst learning, and not to be afraid of asking questions. I’m confident that this well the student achieve short-term success with upcoming exams as well, more importantly, long-term success in academia.
