My Experience
I have taught in the UK independent sector for over a decade, including 5 years as Head of Physics at Bradfield College in Berkshire.
I have taught:
Edexcel IGCSE Physics,
AQA Science, Additional Science & Physics GCSE,
OCR A, OCR B (Advancing Physics), AQA A & WJEC AS and A-level Physics,
IB Physics to Standard and Higher Level as part of the Diploma Programme,
AS and A-level Science in Society,
KS3 Science SATs.
I have been an A-level Physics Examiner for WJEC/EDUQAS.
I have an excellent track record with supporting pupils with a range of SEND requirements
including dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD achieve their potential. I completed a year’s worth
of training with the National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth and the University of
Warwick on how to best inspire the most academically able and stretch their thinking
beyond the set curriculum.
I have been a UCAS tutor for seven years, helping pupils write bespoke, targeted personal
statements to achieve places at a wide range of Russell Group universities including Oxford
and Cambridge.
