I try to tailor my teaching to each individual student by assessing the studentās knowledge of the subject matter at the start of every session. This builds studentsā confidence in their own ability and allows me to pitch the subject matter at the right level.
I also believe in highly interactive sessions so try to split my sessions into short teaching segments followed by questions that are meant to help students apply basic principles to more advanced questions.
To keep students engaged and interested, I often associate the material to real life situations and use visual aids.
