My Passion & How I Inspire

I firmly believe that any subject can be made interesting, and I have found that as soon as a student starts enjoying a subject, their performance markedly improves. I therefore aim to combine an intimate knowledge of exam board requirements and course information, with a more general approach which strikes a balance between being academic and rigorous, whilst ensuring that each student takes a more active interest in the subject matter.

My Experience

I have been tutoring both History and Politics for the last three years, including as a student mentor at the Oxford Spires Academy to both GCSE and A-Level students. However, I have taught a range of students of all ages, from primary school to university admissions. I have also been flown to South Korea to tutor students in English Literature and English Language.

I strive to learn the exact details of each students exam board specifications, knowledge which has proved extremely useful in the past. I aim to engage students by quickly finding their weaker areas, and work with the student to improve this at a steady and consistent pace.
