I am one of Tavistock Tutors’s most experienced tutors and have been tutoring for over 10 years. Within this time, I have taught a large number of students in the London area with outstanding results. My specialised subject is economics and I am able to teach this from A-Level/IB Level right up to postgraduate level including advanced topics such as econometrics and behavioural economics. I am also highly experienced in tutoring business studies, maths and statistics.
I have a PhD in economics and work as a lecturer at Imperial College Business School. Previous to this, I was a lecturer in econometrics at the University of Manchester. I have links with many of the top economics/business schools in the UK and have been invited to teach on numerous occasions. Institutions include the University of Nottingham, University of Manchester, Queen Mary University of London, Imperial College Business School and the London School of Economics. My exceptional teaching abilities were recognised, when I was given the prestigious award of Teaching Excellence at the University of Nottingham.
In addition to face-to-face tutoring, I also teach students online. I currently teach students from all around the world and use high quality software which enables live video streaming, real time interactive whiteboards and file sharing. This has proved extremely successful with my students attaining the highest grades.
“Nik is a great tutor, who is fun to work with and teaches in a way that is easy to understand. He really helped me for my A-Level Economics and pushed me up two whole grades! I now go to the university of my choice and I am very happy. Thanks a lot” Luke – North West London
“Nik has been a really great tutor, always enthusiastic, patient and a great teacher. With his help over 4 months he helped me to boost my A-level predictions from a D to an A/B. I would definitely recommend him.” Elliot Bowden – North West London
“Nik has an engaging, friendly personality and my son liked him immediately and found his teaching methods direct and easy to understand. This has had a positive effect on his general confidence in Maths and he is has become much more enthusiastic about the subject and his own ability to complete tasks set.” Sarah Cooper-Central London
