My Passion & How I Inspire

I believe in a tailor-made approach to tutoring, analyzing each student’s individual needs and finding the best strategies and solutions for them. I create an environment that is fun and supportive but also encourages the student to achieve their full individual potential. Finally, I have a genuine passion and love for my subjects and I try to inspire some of this enthusiasm in my tutees!

My Experience

I have many years of experience in teaching mathematics (experienced with AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards), verbal and non-verbal reasoning as well as being an experienced music tutor. Several of my mathematics students have jumped to the top maths set or started achieving the top marks in their year after starting tuition with me. I have successfully prepared students for 11+ entrance to top schools such as S. Paul’s Girls’ School, Westminster School, the London Oratory, Francis Holland as well as Eton King’s Scholarship (Maths Papers). I have taught maths GCSE and A-Level students at schools such as Winchester, Magdalen College School, Cheltenham Ladies' College, D'Overbroeck's and UCS and recently one of my GCSE tutees gained the highest maths marks in the entrance exam to Shrewsbury School sixth form.

My Reviews

“Natasha made my daughter feel comfortable in lessons, talked and listened to her about all sorts of issues and genres of music. She was able to judge when to be flexible and when to be firm enough to support her, and my daughter went on to achieve a distinction in her ABRSM grade 7 exam. Natasha is an excellent technical teacher and has good techniques for

encouraging practice and achievement. She is also young enough but with enough life experience of her own to be able to relate to teenagers. I recommend her wholeheartedly.”

"...[after 3 years of tuition with Natasha], Lulu (age 14) now presents as having a maths age of an average 17 year old, sits in the upper maths set in her school year, represents her school in the National Mathematics competition and is looking forward to taking maths not only for GCSE and A Level but also possibly at university.

Natasha sees both children once a week. They greatly enjoy their time with her (...) I would go so far as to say that they are actually happy when it’s a Natasha day! Not only is she an excellent and patient tutor but she also someone both kids respect, admire and enjoy spending time with. She is a wonderful role model and Lulu in particular sees her as a  mentor."

My Video Introduction

Fun fact

I am always first on the dance floor and can genuinely do the Moonwalk (and might even be prepared to teach it to future tutees!)
