My Experience
I have 6 years of full-time teaching experience at comprehensive secondary schools in London, with a proven track record of raising the attainment of students across the age and ability range. This means the lowest attaining year 7s right up to the highest attaining year 13s.
I began privately tutoring in my 3rd year as a full-time teacher and quickly noticed that I could be even more effective tutoring individuals by adopting a bespoke approach. Private tutoring has enabled me to become familiar with the major examination boards, including Edexcel, AQA, OCR and WJEC. I also have marking experience for Edexcel which gives me an insiders knowledge of their requirements. Demand for my services has also extended to the 11+, where I have experience of successfully preparing students for the entrance test at schools of the caliber of Wilsons, Wallington Grammar and Whitgift in the county of Surrey.
In addition to 1-to-1 tuition, I have undertaken group tutorials since April 2016 with the largest provider of small group tuition in the UK. I have become one of their go-to tutors as a result of my outstanding reviews. Increasing demand for my services means that I am highly likely to become a full-time private/small group tutor in 2017.
