My teaching style focuses on providing a friendly and comfortable environment for the student to learn in. This encourages the student to ask questions freely and not feel embarrassed to ask a ‘silly question’. I aim to provide numerous means to get points across to students, whether it be diagrams, exercises or past exam questions. I find this helps to consolidate students’ understanding of the topic at hand. I am also very keen to know what the topics being studied at school are, and back them up with exercises and more challenging questions in my lessons. Closer to exam times I focus on past papers and more frequent lessons to help get the students in the best possible form before exams. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and always motivate and encourage my students to do better and improve further.
Having taught students of many age groups and backgrounds, I understand and accept that lessons need to be taught differently to different people. Thus I am prepared to alter and shape my lessons to suit the student’s needs. Being a student, I am fairly flexible and happy to arrange lessons within short notice.
