My Passion & How I Inspire

My aim with any student is to quickly establish their style of learning and tailor the lessons to suit them most. I would also understand what they want to achieve and set smaller goals to reach this. I adjust the speed of my lessons according to the needs of the student and make sure they have fully understood before moving on. In doing this I hope to help students build confidence in their subject. I want my students to know that I am there, not to guilt them for not knowing something, but to assist them in the areas they need help the most.

My Experience

I have been teaching privately as a Mathematics tutor for several years and have worked with students working towards 11+, GCSE and A-level. Exam boards I have prepared students for are WJEC and AQA. I have helped prepare for competitive schools including St. Michael's Catholic Grammar School and The Henrietta Barnett School.

I have worked as a Mathematics tutor, but along the way I have also had the pleasure of teaching piano and music theory to young children. I have also taught Korean as a second language to a group of adult learners, who wanted to improve their knowledge of the language.
