My Passion & How I Inspire

I have an enthusiastic and engaged attitude towards learning and this is something which I try to pass on to my students. I believe every student has a different way of learning and therefore to be an effective tutor it is important to tailor your way of teaching to the student in question.

I always try and convey my interest in economics to my students and I think it is important to illustrate the relevancy of economics as a way to understand an important part of our society. I want to make sure my students have a crystal-clear view of the key economic principles so that they can then effectively draw links between the different parts of the syllabus and tackle the more complex elements of the course to reach the top marks.

I moved around every three years as a child and think this definitely was a catalyst for my love of languages! Having lived in both Spain and France I speak both fluently and am also familiar with the IB course, having completed it myself. There are so many benefits to studying a language and want to be able to share these.

No matter what I am tutoring, I always want to make sure it never becomes a chore for my student!

My Experience

I come from a strong academic background and am enthusiastic about tutoring.

I have tutored English as a foreign language when living in Madrid to students at a variety of levels from primary school children to adults, tailoring my lessons plans to my studentsā€™ different abilities. I have also taught English to a class of twenty-five to thirty students in Peru.

At school I was Head of House which involved supporting the younger girls in my house.
