My Passion & How I Inspire

The motivation behind learning is a key ideal behind my teaching method. My aim is that a student will not only acquire all the necessary knowledge required by the curriculum which they can apply in an exam setting, but that I have also inspired an interest in what they are learning. I like to set aside some time at the end of each session to allow the student to raise anything that they are uncertain about or if they would like to discuss more advanced subject material. I find that this ignites a flair for the subject and maintains a student's curiosity.

My Experience

I have experience tutoring children from ages eleven to nineteen in physics and mathematics. At university I was a Physics Mentor and helped undergraduates go through lectures and worksheets. I have also worked for an education resource company as a Scientific Content Writer, creating physics content and questions, where I was able to gain experience applying educational theory in a professional setting.
