My Passion & How I Inspire

We all have different methods of learning and varying understandings of what the best approach to private tutoring may be. To me, grasping the student's wants and needs come first, in order to come up with a lesson that is not only educational and efficient, but engaging and exciting at the same time.

I love to thrive off the student and keep the lesson flowing, with diversity throughout. Keeping it fun and energetic helps the student stay attentive as well as happy.

To inspire my student is my goal. At the end of the day, I want to know that I have not only passed on theoretical knowledge, but the energy to want to keep learning and a positive outlook on our subject at hand.

My Experience

As an experienced piano, music theory, maths, as well as entry level (8+, 11+) teacher, I always strive to achieve my student’s goals and more.

I specialise in teaching piano from years 4 – 18, as well as adult learners who are looking to start learning the piano, or pick it up again. I have a breadth of students with different goals, and I adapt to different needs, as some students prefer a more structured, exam-centric lesson, whereas others are looking for more of a relaxed method of learning just for fun.

I also teach music theory, focusing on grades 1 – 5. I also teach these lessons online, given they are mainly verbal lessons, with an in-person catch up on occasion.

With regards to maths, I focus on beginner and intermediate children who are looking to achieve specific goals within a period of time. I also teach entry level mathematics (as well as English and other relevant topics), as I have helped past students gain entry into some of London’s top Independent Schools.
