My Passion & How I Inspire

I am passionate about being a tutor because tutoring is teaching in dialogue with someone and I very much enjoy the communicative aspect of helping someone, of passing down knowledge, the skills and tools that I have acquired over the last years. I plan on making my lessons enjoyable by finding relatable thematic elements that draw the student in. I believe that after having found motivation in looking at a subject from the inside, one can turn to the broader perspective - both of which are essential to good academic work. What keeps me going is my curiosity and interest in the challenge of finding new solutions and exploring themes and topics together with someone else.

My Experience

I have over six years’ experience tutoring in both Vienna, Austria, and London. While tutoring a variety of subjects including French and Music, my focus has been English language and literature ages 14+ to A-level as well as postgraduate dissertations.

I have also gained valuable insight for exam preparation having worked for the British Council Vienna as a Supervisor and Invigilator for Cambridge English exams.
