I am an English teacher and former legal practitioner with over ten years’ teaching and tutoring experience. I can teach English for a variety purposes including: GCSE English Language and Literature, KS3 and KS2 English and Common Entrance exams. I have helped several students pass their entrance exams for a range of competitive schools across the UK, such as the Perse school, City of London school, St Paul’s school, Highgate school, Dulwich college, King’s school Canterbury, James Allen’s Girls’ school and others. Since I started teaching, I have mainly been working in UK schools, tutoring agencies and English language centres, such experiences enabled me to develop ways to communicate complex information in a simple and clear manner. I consistently strive to create a stable learning environment and conduct lessons that stimulate and engage pupils. Throughout my teaching and tutoring years, I have learnt a great deal from observing my pupils’ learning strategies, and I can now benefit from that experience when anticipating students’ difficulties and dealing with their different learning curves.
I have successfully helped a number of tutees achieve their academic goals and boost their school performance. Alongside my teaching qualification, I hold a Master of Laws and I am fluent in several European languages; being a linguist myself, I’m familiar with most aspects of language learning, and I know how to tackle the difficulties encountered by pupils in the learning process.
