My Passion & How I Inspire

I am truly passionate about my job and committed to provide unwavering support to students. I believe a good tutor should be an inspirational person who helps young pupils realise their full potential and discover their talents and skills. I guide students through the learning process while generating full awareness and understanding of the subject of study.

My lessons are bespoke and accurately designed to best suit individual needs. I target specific problem areas and aim to ensure the best possible learning outcomes.

I like to adopt innovative teaching methodologies that encourage students to use their creativity and learn more about the world around them, while improving their English skills.

My Experience

I am an English teacher and former legal practitioner with over ten years’ teaching and tutoring experience. I can teach English for a variety purposes including: GCSE English Language and Literature, KS3 and KS2 English and Common Entrance exams. I have helped several students pass their entrance exams for a range of competitive schools across the UK, such as the Perse school, City of London school, St Paul's school, Highgate school, Dulwich college, King's school Canterbury, James Allen's Girls' school and others. Since I started teaching, I have mainly been working in UK schools, tutoring agencies and English language centres, such experiences enabled me to develop ways to communicate complex information in a simple and clear manner. I consistently strive to create a stable learning environment and conduct lessons that stimulate and engage pupils. Throughout my teaching and tutoring years, I have learnt a great deal from observing my pupils' learning strategies, and I can now benefit from that experience when anticipating students' difficulties and dealing with their different learning curves.

I have successfully helped a number of tutees achieve their academic goals and boost their school performance. Alongside my teaching qualification, I hold a Master of Laws and I am fluent in several European languages; being a linguist myself, I'm familiar with most aspects of language learning, and I know how to tackle the difficulties encountered by pupils in the learning process.
