My Passion And How I Inspire
I am the tutor who is also the friend. I am enthusiastic and warm, and my priority is always to build a child’s confidence and give them a love of learning that they often cannot develop in a crowded classroom.
I know just how much all children are capable of, so I also like to push my tutees as far as they can go. I want to find what a child is great at, and push that to its limit! My memory of the best teachers I had at school were the ones who helped me go even further than I needed to, and who gave me a greater and more interesting amount of knowledge and information than a syllabus laid out for me. Rather than learning just to answer set questions in an exam, I felt I truly understood and was fascinated by those subjects.
This is what I want for my tutees, and I aim to help a child seek improvement for themselves, not because I demand it of them. As a result of my efforts, I want my tutees to develop positively as a person as well as within the subject we are working on.
My video Introduction
I also co-run a theatre production company that takes plays into people’s homes!
