My Passion & How I Inspire

I believe the best teaching is hands on, fun, approachable and experiential. By experiential I mean learning by doing and not just by text book. It's important get to know my students as people. By doing that, the student and tutor enjoy a unique and productive learning experience tailored to the specific person.

The most important thing for me as a tutor is to ensure students are inspired, empowered and therefore motivated to be the best they can be using their own unique talents. To know that you have done your very best is a great feeling!

My Reviews

"Having Lucie as a teacher for practical and written work was amazing. Her insights into drama texts and her understanding are brilliant. She really brings what is on the page to life.

She brought a professional industry standard to the class room, this helped me gain a understanding of what it is like within the industry. She also helped my acting technique and pushed me to targets I thought I would never get to. Not only was it a professional atmosphere but Lucie influenced team work and worked very closely with individuals and the group as a whole." - Jack (Drama Student)

"Lucie is one of the best teachers I have ever had! Her lessons are always so enjoyable. She has taught me many new skills and techniques to approaching a play, a character and a written piece of work. She has shown me how to improve my performance with the actions and emotions of a piece. I can’t thank Lucie enough for all of her help and guidance, as she has helped me to progress and grow as a performer in ways that I didn’t think I could." - Mollie (Drama Student)
