My lesson plans are completely tailored to fit the individual student. I am experienced in many different teaching techniques, to suit any style of learning. Education should be a holistic process, not just a case of teaching to the exam, so I like to encourage students to look at the wider context of the subjects they are studying, and relate it to present-day issues. I love to pass on my passion for studying language and culture.
I am widely experienced in tutoring English, French, and Italian with the goal of getting students into competitive schools and universities. I specialise in Oxbridge application prep, but I have tutored all ages from adult learners to prep school students. I have a strong track record of helping students achieve their desired grades and gaining places to first-choice institutions.
I have worked long-term with a student with severe dyslexia, and another student with low processing speed and poor recall. Furthermore I am experienced in teaching students English as an additional language.
