My Passion & How I Inspire

French was always my favourite subject at school, and I chose to study it when I went to university as I loved it so much. Having lived for a year in France during my degree, I am now fluent in French, and love tutoring to help students improve in the run-up to exams or just for fun!

My tutoring style is to mix spoken, written and verbal French practice through fun exercises, helping students improve across all areas of their French language. I tailor my lessons based on what students are looking to achieve and how they are progressing and am always open to feedback on my style and approach to make sure the tutoring is as helpful as possible to the student.

My Experience

I have been tutoring French since 2014, mostly with year 10 and 11 students working towards their GCSEs, and have worked with both the AQA and Edexcel curriculums.

All students I have worked with have seen an improvement in their French grades as a result, with one achieving an A* having originally been predicted a C.

My Reviews

“Just wanna tell you that I got the A* on the French reading paper and that I'd like to thank you sooo soo much for helping me. I'm so happy that I've been forced to use my informal writing skills to show how grateful I am for your help and commitment. I couldn't have done it without you!” (GCSE student)
