The subjects that I loved at school always had a teacher who was equally passionate about the subject they taught. My main approach to tutoring is to use my passion for English Literature and Shakespeare to engage students in a way that also sparks a love for the subject.
This, for me, is the key to success in learning and allows students to naturally gain confidence in the subject, which in turn will
directly influence their success. By getting students to feel comfortable with all genres of literature and the English language, I work with them to explore the texts thoroughly and teach them the correct exam techniques to achieve strong results.
My years of studying English and working in Marketing have also made me a stickler for grammar and spelling, so I can confidently advise and guide people towards good essay writing techniques in both the academic and professional realms.
I specialise particularly in Shakespeare, so if you have a āfear of Shakespeareā, I am your girl...no matter who you are, I will get you buzzing about the āGreat Bardā!
