My Passion & How I Inspire
“My teaching style is to provide a structure for studying Maths. For many students it is not intuitive, and so I prefer outlining a step-by-step method for every question. I also like to use visualisations and rhymes to help students remember mathematical rules. Even though Maths usually has a right and a wrong answer, my approach is to be positive and build on existing knowledge, because self confidence is essential for performing well in Maths.”
My Experience
Two years experience as a one-on-one and small group Tutor with the Widening Participation Volunteer scheme, at Acland Burghley School and then at Walworth Academy.
Various volunteer experience working with teenagers both in schools and youth groups.
