My Passion & How I Inspire

When it comes to exam preparation, practice makes perfect, so I place particular emphasis on going over past papers and thinking about what kind of questions could come up in the exam.

For languages, it’s all about confidence and enjoyment, so I really try and help the student realise that languages are a gateway into a whole different culture, and that there is so much more to them than vocab and grammar.

My Experience

I spent a year working as an English teacher in a primary school in Madrid, where I taught children from 2 to 12 years old. I also tutored adults in preparation for the Cambridge English language exams.

I have supported several students from my old school(Fettes College in Edinburgh) with their personal statements and interview preparation, particularly for Oxbridge.
