My Passion & How I Inspire

My desire of enrolling in the teaching profession began when I was young. I used to admire teaching because I believed it is the best profession through which you can deliver your professionalism efficiently. Personally I used to envy my primary teacher and was fascinated by his impressive teaching experience and unique ability to deliver fun and engaging lessons all children enjoyed attending. Mainly, this notion further influenced me into liking the teaching profession. In line with that, teaching is a social career. Teaching provides a very good platform in social interaction. As a teacher and tutor you are able to meet different students from different world speaking different languages, different races, and also different in cultures. Nonetheless, developing effective teaching skills that make one specialized and high principled in the field require one to attend reputable learning institutions. My time in graduate and undergraduate schooling has likewise taught me that I have a strong passion for learning.

My Experience

I was actively involved in professional language development and at one time I held a public speech at the TESOL international convention in Portland, Oregon, US. Besides being fluent in English and German, I was actively involved learning other languages such as French (advanced), Spanish (advanced) and Russian (beginner) which have further added to my remarkable skills in language instruction. Principally, I was an English High School teacher in Dubai at two private schools for four years and have gained a lot of experience concerning the same. Besides teaching in various schools, I have also engaged in tutoring children and teenagers to help them progress in their learning. I have gained profound experience in both the US and IB curriculum. Out of my four-year teaching career in the Middle East and various internships in the US and Russia, I have developed a heartfelt love for this profession and look forward to meet lots of new students and I believe a variety of exciting and real world activities stimulate a student’s learning on several different levels. Education is an incredibly powerful tool which, we as educators must use effectively for all students to experience success and enjoyment each day of their school careers.

My Qualifications

Besides being a CELTA qualified English teacher, I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (M.A.) supplemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages and Foreign Language Teaching (B.A.).I am currently enrolled in the Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD) program at Greenwich University and tutor various children around London to prepare them for their 11 + examinations.
