My Passion & How I Inspire

My approach to tuition is to encourage a deep understanding of the course content, instead of learning a list of facts or how to pass the exam. I do this by trying to explain how the concepts fit within previous knowledge, how it’s applied in the real world and why it’s important that we understand it. Every student learns differently, so all of my lessons are tailored to the individual. I dedicate time to getting to know my tutees and finding what they enjoy or don’t enjoy, how they retain or understand information and what areas in particular they struggle with.

My Experience

I have worked as a tutor for a year tutoring all sciences, Maths and Oxbridge Applications. I have particular experience in Edexcel and AQA boards for these subjects. I also worked on a University of Cambridge tour of Asia, giving accredited talks on applying to and interviewing at Cambridge.
