My Passion & How I Inspire

“I’m a supportive, encouraging and positive tutor who engages closely with parents and teachers to ensure that my tuition dovetails effectively with the work the student is doing at school, and to ensure that I can get as much information about the student as possible. I make sure I’m as familiar with exam rubric and technique as I am the academic content.”

My Experience

Teaching Assistant from April 2018 to present, working as a one-to-one Intervention Tutor in a Sixth Form. Primarily focused on Humanities subjects, such as History, English Literature, and Government and Politics. The exam board was usually AQA and Edexcel, but the material is easily adaptable to other boards.

Teacher in China, July 2015, teaching English Language and History, to roughly year 7-8 equivalents, through a translator and on a class basis.

Ad-hoc tutoring to friends and family.
