My Experience
I served as Law Society President and was actively involved with the running of the Pro Bono Sub-Committee, which ran one of the programmes called āStreet Lawā. This enabled members the opportunity to educate young people about law and governance. Members of the society attended schools in Colchester, teaching various aspects of law to students which was enjoyable yet memorable.
I also informally tutored at the University of Essex in Law during my time as a student.
As a sixth form student, I was actively involved in tutoring in Law, having been selected by the department as one of the top performers of the year group. I tutored a number of students alongside my own studies at that point. I also informally tutored a classmate in English Literature, who obtained an A in the A2 English Literature exam.
