I methodically prepare for each lesson focusing on a pupilās strongpoints and needs. I like to be meticulous and have clear goals for each one of my classes. However, I try to keep a lesson as relaxed as possible and help a pupil open up and engage in it. I personally enjoy every subject I teach and try to transmit that to my pupils so as to increase their self-esteem and subsequently their performance in their exams.
I have taught in schools in Greece for about 15 years: I used to teach anything from Greek to maths for pupils who had just migrated there and were in urgent need to learn Modern Greek.
I also taught ancient Greek Language and history to both Greek and non-Greek young teenagers for two years.
I spent a year teaching Modern Greek in a Greek community school in London. My pupils were of Greek origin, but most of them could not speak Greek or at least not properly. I taught anything from beginners to GCSEās.
